Pregnancy and Acne

My sister in law is desperate about finding an acne treatment for her face. I feel sorry for her because her face is full of acne. I told her not to worry very much about it because I am sure that it is just part of the hormones being pregnant. I also told her that it will be gone when she will give birth already. On the other hand, I also understand how she feels. You know how annoying it is to have acne and on top of that, when they are inflamed, they are painful. I think I am lucky that I didn't experience the same problem when I got pregnant but mind you I was not spared as I experienced it for a brief period after I gave birth.

Acne Review

As I was reading online, I have found out that there are too many products acne products available. With numerous products that are available, I think it will be hard for any consumer to decide which of those claims are true. I am glad to find a website that provide information and reviews of acne products that work. I know that personal experiences vary thus it is always good to try and see what product suits your type of skin. Sometimes, the trial and error method works good. But if your acne seems to worsen, then it is not bad idea to consult your dermatologist as there might be underlying condition that you are unaware of.

Teenage Acne

I am fortunate that during my teenage years, I never had a major acne breakout. I did have some shares of occasional acne breakout of one or two on my cheek or nose but nothing more than that. I guess it helped that we live in a place where there was less pollution and we always eat healthy. I also believe that my genes has to do with it. My mom has a good clear skin too and she told me that she didn't have a lot of acne either during her time.

Anyhow, acne is the most common problem that a teenager may face that is why there are many acne products that one can buy. I advice to find it yourself whatever suits you best. Different people has different reaction on certain products. Find what will work for you and stick to it.

Acne Treatment

A teenager daughter of my friend once asked me if I ever had acne when I was younger. I told her that at some point yes. I had my share of pimples during my teenage year but nothing alarming. My pimples would come and go and usually it was just one or two so I was not worried about it. I always thought that it was part of growing up. She told me that she has a recurring pimple in her left check bone area and she is annoyed with it. She asked me if I know a brand that can be considered as the best acne treatment. I explained to her that different skin types have different reaction to treatment. Anyway, we browsed the net based on customers review of acne products. She found something she thinks she will try. Hopefully, she will be satisfied with what she chose.

Hormonal Change and Acne

After I gave birth to my daughter, I was very sure that I experienced hormonal change. I think I am one of the few lucky individuals who had a very easy pregnancy.

You see, I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 4 months pregnant. I never experienced cravings, morning sickness and every symptoms that is associated with pregnancy. When I gave birth, I had a 10-minute labor. The doctor didn't have time for epidural as my baby was already ready to come out.

A month after I gave birth, I had acne breakouts. It was in my face and in my neck. I hated it. I look terrible with all the acne breakouts. I wish I have known about acnepril then because many said that it is very effective. Acnepril ingredients include vitamin A, vitamin C, biotin, pantothenic acid, green tea, alpha lipoic acid, DMAE, apple cider vinegar, licorice root, garlic, MSM, dandelion root, witch hazel leaf, glucosamine, milk thistle seed, white willow bark, mangosteen, and noni fruit. Acnepril has an amazing results.

Thankfully, after a month or so, I surpassed my acne problems.

Acne and Pregnancy

Pregnancy can trigger acne or make existing adult acne worse. The higher levels of hormones called androgens are partly responsible for pregnancy breakouts. Androgens can prompt the sebaceous glands to get bigger and boost production of an oily substance called sebum. Acne during pregnancy can be mild, moderate, or even severe, and it can occur at any time during the pregnancy. It may come and go, or it may last the entire pregnancy. Acne in pregnancy is also a case to case basis as their are some women with acne-prone skin report a decrease in breakouts during pregnancy.

There are available acne medication which you can buy over the counter. But if you are pregnant, you need to consult your doctor first before applying any medications as there are medications that won't be safe for your unborn child.

Teenage Acne

I am very close to my nephews and nieces. We are a very closely knitted family so there is no doubt why I am close to the kids at home. It was more than 3 years ago when I left my biological family and migrated here in the USA.

It is so amazing how time flies. My eldest nephew is already in his teenage years. The last time I talked to him, I can't believe how much his voice change. He no longer sound the same. He sound like a big guy now.

Like most teenagers, my nephew has his share of hormonal change. He has some acne in his face. Thankfully, it is not a lot. I told his Mom to check out on some natural acne products and to make sure that his face is washed and clean before going to bed. I am glad that my nephew also understands that this stage is part of his teenage years.
