As a blogger and internet user, I always make sure that I have installed in my PC and in my laptop an effective anti virus software. Computer is part of my daily life. I actually spend many hours every day doing some internet browsing, playing games in social medias, updating and visiting blogs and other personal things. Right now, I am using my laptop. I am planning to buy a desktop computer because I think that with the length of time that I use my computer daily, I don't think that my laptop will last. 4 Hours ....

I am really grrr because while visiting some blogs today, there was one blog that I have visited that it automatically redirected me to some porn sites! I was so devastated because my computer got infected with a virus that my anti-virus can't stop nor treat. It made my computer not to function properly as the virus thing will pop out at all times.

I didn't have a choice but have to reformat my computer. As much as I hate to do it, it left me no choice. I did the disc recovery thingy and it took me 4 hours to do everything from recovery to downloading all the necessary drivers that I need.

It is a tedious job but I did it... but still I can't believe it took me 4 hours! Thankfully, we have another laptop that I can use, so I still was able to do some online tasks that I need to do.

New Computer Virus

A University of Alabama-Birmingham team discovers a new virus. It is a spam campaign using false e-mails made to look like messages from the Social Security Administration is capable of stealing Social Security numbers and downloading malware onto victims’ home computers.

It is always aggravating to find a virus in your computer. How much more if it gets your personal information and stealing your bank passwords. I don't have a lot of money in the bank but of course I worry that whatever cents that I have in the bank will be stolen.
