Girls love to wear jewelry. The type of jewelry a woman wears reflects on her personality and style. I am not into jewelry as I only wear the basic. Some women prefers to adorn themselves with more jewelries and I am not that type. I do wear fashion jewelries during special occasions.

Speaking of jewelry, I am sure that any woman will be glad to wear a customized one. Imagine wearing something that nobody else is wearing? I bet it will be exciting. I love looking for best deals. It doesn't matter what deals I get. Sometimes, I found deals on hotels and vacation packages, sometimes I find deals on grocery items, sometimes I find deals on entertainment. I just like finding good deals as I always prefer to buy things for lesser than what they really cost.

Though I don't smoke (and hubby is trying to quit ... he has not smoked in over a month!), I can't help but still look for cigar deals of the day because my brother in law loves to collect cigars and smoke them during special occasions. Whenever I find a good deal, I always forward it to him and let him decide if it is worth buying or not.

Yay for coupons!

I love coupons and I love free stuffs or almost free! Things are really getting expensive nowadays. When you go to a grocery store, your $100 is like nothing. Thanks to coupons I am able to stock up on items for less.

Picture above is my latest score which I bought in Walmart. All of the items I used coupons and I just paid less than $6 for all of these.

I became a CVS shopper for few weeks now because I learned to enjoy their Extra Bucks program.  I am enjoying the savings that I get and getting products for less at CVS store.  In fact, I joined some of their programs to get more Extra Bucks.

Perfect Winter Wear

Alabama may not have a brutal winter but there are days when it gets really cold. Even if we don't have a lot of snow every year, the weather here can be very cold and very windy.

One of the most reliable winter wear that many people like is the north face coats. This brand is very well known. In fact, many people pay more just to get this brand and to be honest, I have yet to buy myself a north face coat. So far, I haven't indulge in this expensive coat maybe one of this days, I will just close my eyes during check out and not chicken out to buy a north face coat for me. I know that it is worth the money you will pay. Perhaps when money will no longer be an issue, I will buy me few pairs of these.

For The Love of Wedges

I like wearing wedges, obvious isn't it? I ordered 3 wedges because they were priced irresistibly low. I will never buy a shoes priced at its original price. I am too cheap!

Furniture Shopping LA

Last year, my husband and I have decided to replaced our carpet to floor. We done it by ourselves and we were satisfied with our own work of labor. Then, bought a new couch and dining table to make our place look like new. We have enough space in our house but changing the arrangement of the furniture and appliances made it look spacious. I also got discount with the furniture I bought so I did not think twice when buying it. My friend in LA asked the link where I bought the furniture. I told her that I saw discount furniture stores in los angeles that she might consider checking out. Los Angeles is where Hollywood at so I am thinking they probably has its own taxes rate and expensive yet quality furniture. Anyway, I do not know if my friend able to buy the kind of furniture she was looking for. As for me, I am happy with my dining table, couch and other stuffs.

Fun at the Carousel

A trip to the mall made my daughter very happy. We haven't been to Riverchase Galleria for a while now so, yesterday we went there and let Andrea and her friend Matthew have fun.

Kids always get hungry when we go to the mall. Our first destination was at Sears were I was able to snag some great buys. After putting what we snag at Sears we went to the Foodcourt as the kids were hungry.

After we ate, we rode the merry go round. This time of the year, the merry go round has reindeer and Santa sleighs instead of the usual animals. The merry go round was surrounded with Christmas tress and gifts. It was a snow setting.


The kids were so excited being able to ride with the reindeer.

After the carousel ride we let the kids enjoy the mall while we shop some more. Before we went home, we grab some cinnamon sticks at Cindy's.

It was a great mall day!

Shopping Day

I have some online works to do but I wanted to get out of the house and do some shopping. My friends and I went to the outlet mall. We really didn't have anything in particular to shop. We just want to have some fun at the mall.

We ended up looking for some hats. We went to the store and look for hats of our favorite teams. My favorite team is LSU but I couldn't find something that I like. I was looking for a gold or purple hat but I can't find the style I want.

Then we went to GAP. We found good summer outfits there. We were able to snag outfits that was just $0.97 each. It was such a deal that we almost bought it all!

Then, my daughter told me that it is time to go to red mango to get some yogurt with M&M's. It is her favorite and she thinks every time we go to the outlet mall we have to buy a cup there.

It was a great day! Good buys and good eat!

Gap Shopping with Friends

I had a email from GAP for 30% off on everything. It was good for one day only and that was last Saturday.

My friends and I went to Gap and did a little shopping. See those bags, all of us bought something there and were so happy with the discount.

Ready for a Friend's Wedding

Mom Lori brought me shopping yesterday. We were looking for a dress that I can wear for my friend's wedding this Saturday. We spent couple of hours shopping in one store but I was unable to buy the dress I want.

We went to another store and within a couple of minutes I found the perfect dress. It was stylish enough and it is not too much. Yeah, you heard me, I am kinda cheap lol.

I can't wait for the wedding. It will be fun!

Shopping Buddies

Went shopping yesterday because we will be attending two birthday parties on Saturday. We have to buy gifts for the birthday celebrators.

Andrea had so much fun with her friends Matt and Alex. They played, shopped, eat and posed for pictures.

Girls and Shopping

Most girls love to shop and we are but a living proof of shopaholics. We love to shop and can shop for hours even if it means buying just 1 or 2 items in the store.

Window shopping is not really an expensive vice. We all like to go shopping, check their clearance items and look for something to buy, something that won't break our "broken" wallets.

It's On Sale!

Sales, discounts, promos, and shopping for less are common words that we heard over the past weekend. Stores have offered their discounts to all shoppers even before the Black Friday and they still continue to do so even after the Cyber Monday. Often times, retailers offer discounts on their merchandise all year round but the biggest sale event will be during Thanksgiving time.

I am half done with my Christmas shopping. I did shop during the big sale events and I found some wonderful things at a discounted price. I had bought scrubs sets on sale which I want to give to my sister. She is a medical professional so I am sure she can use them when she will start working. I didn't buy her a pink scrub because it is not her preferred color. She likes red, so I bought some red scrubs and some patterned ones with something red on them.

I told my sister that if she wants to buy more sets of scrubs, she can shop online and check out Blue Sky scrubs for designers scrubs, medical scrubs, scrub hats and more. I also advised her to use my nursing uniforms coupons so that she can save when she will shop.

"Big Girl" Transition

My daughter will be 3 years old this December. Yes, time flies so fast. I feel like it was just few weeks ago that she was still the tiny baby in NICU. Now, I already have a big girl who is too smart for her age (Well, I am the mom, so I can say that!). She is now at the stage where she thinks she can do everything by herself and sometimes, she amazes me of how much she know already.

Along with all the "being a big girl" stage, we finally decided to buy her a toddler's bed. She has her own room now but she still uses the crib which we converted to a bed. We decided that it is time for her to have a real toddler's bed.

The shopper side of me showed out while shopping for a toddler's bed. I know I am just suppose to shop for a toddler's bed but when I found a bookcase headboard that is perfect for our bed, I just couldn't resist it. The bookcase headboard will be good for us because both my husband and I love to read. It will provide us some extra space for our books.

Shopping for a Friend

I am currently shopping for a friend. My friend needs a new laptop and I am helping her what is the best. I am told about her limited budget so I have to shop around for laptops that is within her budget. As I shopped around, I came across Sony VAIO laptop and its specifications are just awesome! It is a little bit expensive for my friend and her budget can't afford it.

When I need to purchase another laptop for myself, I will definitely consider this brand. The wide selection of Sony Vaio laptops is just so amazing to me. Their line of laptops also offers sleek design which is perfect for my taste.

Last Minute Shopping

We haven't been out lately because of the super hot temperature but today is different. We have to do our last minute shopping before I have to head to Atlanta for my interview. Despite the over 100F temperature, we went out to shop.

We went to a different store this time and we were so happy to find some Dora DVDs for Andrea. We can't believe that the price of the DVDs was just $7.50 each so we had to go find a barcode scanner to double check the price. The price was indeed $7.50, needless to say, Andrea got a few! (Thanks, Nana!)

We had fun shopping but when it was time to go home, walking from the store to the car in the parking lot was just a pain... the heat was just so unbearable!
