Friendly Cat
We have a friendly cat in the neighborhood. Dave always wanted to get a cat and/or dog. But living in an apartment we don't have space for a pet. Someday, when we have our house I told him that we will get a pet as long as the pet cat won't sleep with me as I hate the sound of "purring".

At The Fountain
Andrea is always fascinated with the fountain. Whenever we see one, she never fails to mention it and tells us "I see a water".
When we went to St. Vincent's 119 for hubby's annual medical check-up, we had a chance to be near a fountain and Andrea just loved it! She didn't mind waiting for her daddy the whole time because she had so much fun playing with the fountain.

Andrea's Saturday Schedule
Andrea loves to swing. Whenever she goes to visit her Nana and Papa she never fails to play in the porch where the wood swing set is located.
On most Saturdays, Nana picks up Andrea to spend some time with them. Even at her age, she looks forward to this. When she wakes up during Saturdays and if we ask her if she is ready to see Nana and Papa she will tell us... okay go see Nana and play Papa.
It so cute when Andre sees her Nana picking her up for their Saturday adventures, she will just say.. bye mommy and bye daddy without giving a fuss... she is always ready to go!
It is good for me too that she is away for me for few hours as it gives me time for myself. It gets quiet in the house though without her.

Yellow, Orange, Blue
We saw these M&M figures in the store and Andrea wanted to play with them. She calls them yellow, orange and blue. With the most animated way she asked me.... but where's the red? I just answered her animatedly too ... I don't know!

Come Out Ball
Andrea is always fascinated with the gummy balls in the dispenser which you can find in almost every store. She never had bubble gum so she never knew how to chew them nor how any of them taste like. I am not even sure if she knows that you can eat them.
I think that it is the colors that fascinated her the most. When we went to the Filipino store, she found these machines and she spent time watching how the ball will ever come out.
The first pic is the look of determination (She is saying come out ball)
The second pic is of frustration (She said, it is broken)

Independent Girl
My daughter is learning to be independent. When I give her breakfast, she will tell me, "Mama up, sit down". She means she needs to go up and sit down on her high chair. When she is already sitting down, she will then tell me... "Mama right here" which means I have to put the plate with food in front of her. After I put the plate and tells her careful it's hot, blow first... she will then point at the living room and tells me " go out ". She wants me out of the kitchen. She wants to eat without my help and to make sure of that, she wants me not near her.
Oh... how time flies by. She is a big girl and trying to be independent. Proof of her independence, when we last dined out at our favorite Chinese place, we ordered her favorite soup. And guess what? For the first time, she wants to eat without my help. She wants to eat alone.

Dental Rehab
We were up early because today is Andrea's surgery for dental rehab. We have to be at the hospital at 5:45am for the preliminaries and the surgery afterwards.
We got at the hospital at 5:30 and it seems like we were the first few people there. The parking lot was still empty.
Everything went well from registration to preliminaries. Andrea was brought to the Surgery room at around 7am. The procedure took more than an hour. She did well and we were discharged past 9am.
Due to the anesthesia, Andrea was groggy and somewhat disoriented. She can't balance herself. As of this writing, she is already feeling better. She is eating rice and egg right now while enjoying her Dora movie.
Thank you Lord for the successful surgery.

Walkalator
Inside Georgia Aquarium is a walkalator. The picture below shows the curious mind of Andrea. She was so observant about the walkalator. She tried it by herself and laugh at how it moves freely. Sometimes you would wonder how a child's mind work. For Andrea it is all but fun! When I told her to get off because it is almost the end, she skipped and got off.

My Nikon Model
As you all know, I got my dream touch screen camera already. My little girl is my model for the new cam.
My girl is getting smarter everyday. She thinks that every time I switched my camera on, she thinks that she has to operate it using the stylus! Well at least the screen is safe from her fingers lol
Here's some of the pics I made...

Weekend Bonding with Nana and Papa Dan
On most Sundays, we usually spend some time with Mom and Dan. Sometimes, we just leave Andrea with them and Dave & I do some errands.
Andrea is always content with her Nana and Papa Dan. She never cries when we leave her with them. She just hangs out with them and of course eat!
