Christmas Gifts and Cards

Since last week, almost every day I get a package from the mail. Sometimes, I get few cards in one day. It is an awesome feeling to receive Christmas gifts and greetings from all over the world. It feels great that my friends and loved ones remembered me and my family during this holiday season.

While we were at a friend's house, I noticed some cute cookie gift basket. She told me that she is going to give them to the kids in the neighborhood. I think that is a cute gesture.

Anyway, are you all ready for Christmas? I still have some gifts to wrap... gifts from Santa!

Eco-friendly cards

Every year, since my daughter was born, we send personalized holiday cards. It is our way of updating our friends of how big our daughter has become. This year, I want to try the Paper Culture holiday photo cards because I want to use something eco-friendly. As I was browsing online I found the design that I want to use for our cards this year. Of course, I can't order yet as it is too early. Besides, I want to use a recent photo of our family for our holiday cards.

I suggest that you too should use an eco-friendly card. This may sound so little but it will help save mother earth.

Birth Announcement

Having a baby in the family is a joy and as new parents we want to share our joy to our friends and family by sending them a birth announcement. At first I was surprised when my mother-in-law asked me about what kind of baby birth announcements do I want after I gave birth to my daughter. I just told her I don't have any idea because sending birth announcement to family and friends was not customary from where I came from.

Anyway, my mother-in-law explained to me that in the USA it is customary to send birth announcement and that I can even have a customized one.
