Saturday 9: Nobody Told Me

1. When you grew up were you ever told how to deal with problems? My parents were very supportive and they were the ones that helped me deal with problems.

2. What was your first apartment like? I never had an apartment for myself until I got married.

3. What was the first car you owned? I don't own a car. I am just a passenger to our car.

4. Tell us about a crush or relationship that you had at high school. I didn't have a relationship in high school

5. Have you ever had an “enemy” in your life? Nope.

6. What were you doing the first night that you got drunk? I got drunk when my sister and I drank a lot of liquor. The following morning I felt so sick that I promise myself never to get drunk again. It never happen again and that was some 15 years ago.

7. Ten years ago, what was you job and did you like it? 10 years ago I worked in a Sportsclub. It was a lot of fun. I meet different kinds of people. I dealt with different professionals that were members of an exclusive sports club.

8. What movie had the biggest impact on you as a child and why? I can't remember a movie I watched when I was a child.

9. What are your plans for this weekend? Oh just hanging out with hubby. We will be separated for more than two weeks in the coming days and this will be the first time since we got married. We are making the most of the remaining days before my daughter and I will go for a trip.

1. What in the 2011 has proved to you that you are a survivor? By being here today and have raised a good family, I know I am a survivor

2. Have you ever stayed online for a very long time waiting for someone? Plenty of times when hubby and I were still dating.

2. What is the longest line you've ever stood in? Would you do it again? At the American Embassy in the Philippines when I had my interview for my US Visa

4. As the Christmas season approaches, what song is it that you just can't wait to hear? All Filipino Christmas songs

5. What Christmas song do you dread to hear? Nothing, I always love Christmas songs

6. How often do you read the last chapter of a book first? Very seldom as I hate to spoil a good book.

1. Has anyone ever intentionally ripped you off? Or perhaps unintentionally? I am sure unintentionally there were a few.

2. When was the last time that you made a quip that fell completely flat and embarrassed you? I don't remember.

3. When you go to sleep, does it you need to be absolutely quiet or do you need a little noise (radio, TV, music or white)? It doesn't matter. I can sleep on both.

1. Have you ever lost a lover and spent way too much time wondering what they were doing? Nope but I lost in touch a very dear friend and after over 14 years we found each other in Facebook.

2. What was your favorite vacation ever? Bohol, Philippines!

3. Do you like surprises? If yes, what kinds? Or are you one of those people who absolutely has to know what's going on before it happens? I hate surprises. I don't have a patience to wait for a surprise so I have to find out first.

3. How long can you go without your cell phone? Do you own a so-called “smart phone”? I own a smart phone and I can go few hours without a cellphone.

5. Would you rather spend a whole day with your mom or your dad? (If either or both have passed, answer as if they're alive.) I would spend a day with mom and a day with dad. I love and enjoy being with them.

Saturday 9: Rain

1. It's Spring, grilling begins! If you plan a picnic, do you bow out if it rains? I do, it is too messy to picnic when there is a rain especially if you have a toddler.

2. Do you prefer food grilled on a charcoal or gas grill? grilled on a charcoal smells a lot better.

3. We're at the first grilling picnic. What's your meat order? grilled pork with fats

4. What side dishes do you want? grilled broccoli or grilled asparagus

5. Now, where do prefer to eat: at the picnic table or inside? picnic table

6. You were asked to bring a dish. What do you bring? spring rolls

7. Does it bother you to have citronella candles burning if you are eating or cooking outside? never had citronella candles. I always like the scent of pumpkin spice.
