Fun with Online Games

I love playing online games . It is fun to play online games specially with my kid. We found some educational games that we can both do together. I am really glad that there are many apps and games that I can download that helps my daughter learn. There are plenty of options when it comes to playing online games and I just love that there are kid friendly websites that we can all go to.

Actually it is amazing how technology has changed the face of kids entertainment and more. It amazes me how toddlers nowadays uses gadgets that entertains them. With so much advancement of the technology, one doesn't need to go out anymore to have fun.

But despite all these indoor entertainment, I am the type of mom who encourages my daughter to get outdoors and enjoy being a kid. I want her to get dirty and enjoy how it is to run freely. But when the weather is too hot or too cold to enjoy playing outdoors, we always find an online games that we can do together.

Last night, I discover the game snail . This is not the typical snail game. It requires some tricks in order for you to finish the level. It is entertaining.

Addicted to Ben 10

I have a nephew that grows up with me. I mean I helped her mom raised him since birth. I was the other Mommy and that is why I am called Momsy at home. I am the "worst" when it comes to spoiling kids. My nephew had a great time. He was there wherever I went. I most of the time picked him up when he was in school. Then when he was in his elementary years, we played a lot of online games. I used to work in our internet cafe so playing games in the computer and playing online was a privilege for us. He got addicted to playing ben 10 games.


Why is Ben 10 called Ben 10? Simply because because his name is Ben Tennyson and he can transform into 10 different aliens. He loved this game so much that he never get tired of playing it. But, as much as I want to, he has limitations. He can only play during weekends when there is no school and after he finished all his school projects and home works.

One of the Ben 10 games that I used to play with my nephew is the bike race . We love to play this game and I had wonderful memories bonding with him through this game. I always remember his smiles whenever he wins. Bike race is a game where you get into your racing suit and help Ben 10 come first in the fun bike race game online. Like any other kids, he also gets frustrated when he loses the game. I have to remind him that sometimes we lose and that what is the most important thing is that we had fun playing.

It has been years since I saw my nephew in person. Their family had relocated to New Zealand while I now live in the USA. Two different continents separated by thousands of miles. We still communicate through facebook and I can't believe how much he has grown. He is now taller than me and no longer the little boy who always clings to me. It is funny though when we talk like adults and tell stories about "Remember the time when..."

Checkers

Checkers is played on the dark squares only. A piece may move one square at a time, diagonally. If one of your pieces is next to one of your opponent’s pieces and the square beyond it is free, you are required to jump over the opponent’s piece. The opponent’s piece is then removed from the board. It is possible to jump many times in a row with the same piece, capturing several of your opponent’s pieces.

My little girls love to play those although it is not really playing. She just thought that when she can move a piece she wins already. It is cute though. This is the first time that she has seen checkers.

Badminton

Last Sunday, we had fun at the park. While the kids are enjoying the swings and the slides, we the moms are enjoying a game of badminton.

I haven't played badminton in YEARS. We had so much fun running and chasing the "birdie". It was actually a good exercise for us.

Needless to say, up until now, my whole body is sore. I am not complaining though as we truly have fun.

Kingdoms of Camelot

For a couple of weeks, I stopped playing games in Facebook. I used to play in Island Paradise but I got disappointed with the many times that I lost my inventory so I just dropped it off and stopped playing.

Dave found a new game (Kingdoms of Camelot) and he kept on telling me that I will enjoy this game. He told me how it works and everything about the game.

True enough I found myself addicted to it. The good thing with this game is it doesn't require a lot of my time as I can build the game while doing other things.

Needless to say, I am now a LADY in the Kingdoms of Camelot! Kingdoms of Camelot is a web based strategy game you can play if you have a Facebook account. Players build up resources, research technologies, train troops and fight for control of the game map.

Island Paradise

Okay, I have my new addiction. I play Island Paradise in Facebook. I have so much fun cooking and hunting for ingredients. I enjoyed stealing from my neighbors too...lol

The good thing about playing this game is you can leave it while you are doing other things. For somebody like me who is busy with some online tasks and my blogging, island paradise game is perfect because I can leave my cooking and just get it when I am done with other things.

So far I am enjoying this game. I enjoyed "begging" my friends to help me look for my lost animals and helped me discover some recipes. So to all of you out there, help me find my rabbit which is on the loose right now. I also need you to help me discover the coffee recipe... hehehee
