Krystal Dinner

Late dinner. We bought Krystal burgers and fries. It was pretty good as we haven't had it in a while.

Our weekend went by so fast. It seems like we didn't do a thing. One good thing though is I am feeling a lot better. I am no longer coughing. I am still taking medication to make sure that I will completely get rid of the bug that hit me.

Mommy and Me... Water Fun

Fun with your child is priceless. Spending time with your little one is very important for them. I am glad that I am a stay at home mom because I am able to spend time with my daughter as much as possible.

We do a lot of simple things together. We build memories. I hope that when she grows up she will always remember how much we love her.

Mommy and Me... We ate at Joe's

We agreed this is our last splurge. We need to really be in a saving mode which means no more going out to dine for a while. We need to save every little penny for our coming vacation.

So, we decided to splurge at Joe's Crab Shack.

While we were waiting for our orders, we goof off with photo opps

We had fun dining at Joe's. Hubby and I both ordered steamed crabs which was served with a fresh corn in a cob and french fries. For our appetizer we ordered fried calamari which was awesome. Andrea had her usual strawberry milkshake and for her dessert she had a cup of ice cream.

Mommy and Me... Movie Night

Hubby and I love to watch movies. We usually watch movie around or past midnight when our daughter is already asleep.

For a change, we decided to have a family movie night. We watched "Tangled" in DVD. Yes, we have seen the movie couple of times already but it was my daughter's choice to watch it again.

I made popcorn and we had a movie night. Andrea was more excited about the popcorn though! hehehe

Busy weekend. Exhausted! We were watching TV when we just fell asleep. The hot weather outside drained our energy thus we got so exhausted.

Mommy and Me... Krispy Kreme

We went to buy Krispy Kreme donuts and we spend some time watching how the donuts were made. It was cool to actually see the donuts from the moment the maker mixed the flour mixture and put it to the machine until it will come out glazed. You can see all these processes. After we paid for our purchase, we were given free hats.

When we got home at Mischa's we goofed off with the camera and our hats. Of course we have to take pictures first before we enjoyed our hot and fresh donuts.

Mommy and Me... At the Wedding

Oh, I have not had my Mommy and Me entry for the past couple of months. I am sorry but lazy bug got on me.

For this week, I am back! Woot! Here's what kept us busy last Saturday. We attended a friend's wedding.





It was a really good wedding and we all enjoyed it.

Little Ceasars

Okay, we love pizza! And we saw a poster of $5 pizza. So we wanted to try their pizza. We ended up paying more than $5 as we wanted more toppings.

It was not bad but we would rather stick to our favorite frozen freschetta (canadian bacon and pineapple).

Easter Egg Painting

We did our traditional egg painting the night before Easter. My little girl was so excited about the different colors.

After we colored the eggs, we put some stickers on them. It was fun!

Cold Treat

It was a hot day yesterday so we decided to give ourselves a cold treat. We drive to Sonic and decided to eat some cold ice cream. This is the first time that we stayed there to eat what we got. We usually just order something to go.

Carousel Ride

We went to Riverchase Galleria last Saturday. Thanks to my friend Alma who invited us. We did some shopping and the rest was for our kids to enjoy. After they eat their happy meal, I was so surprised that Andrea wanted to ride the merry go round. She told me, "Mommy, I wanna ride the merry go round". She never ask me to ride there before. The last time we went to ride the carousel, she was crying the whole time. I guess, with Matthew around and has a kid to ride with, she felt confident.



They also ride the train and finally we had our to go Cinnamon Sticks which are really to die for.

We made hubby a German chocolate cake for his birthday. She couldn't wait to eat the cake. This was last March 11 when hubby celebrated his birthday.

After enjoying two weeks of a great weather, yesterday was COLD again. So we were back to wearing our sweaters and the like.

Before we went home from our visit to my MIL's, we stop by at Arby's to eat. And before we eat, we had some time to pose for pictures while waiting for our food.

While waiting for our order at Cajun Steamer Bar and Grill at Trussville, Alabama. I am drinking my sweat tea with a lot of lemon while Andrea is drinking her Sprite. Too bad the restaurant doesn't have strawberry milk shake so the only choice is Sprite for Andrea.

One of the things Andrea looked forward to is when I tell her she can bake cookies. Not really a lot of work to do as we will just make the pre-cut cookies. I guess what she looks forward to the most is the idea that she can have some after we bake it.

Mommy and Me... Frog Chair

The frog chair!

My daughter is addicted to the red light on my camera. Every time I am ready to snap some pictures she tells me that she wants the red light. When I set the camera on self-timer, I have to be on her side for picture and we have to say cheese to the red light.

She decided that she wants to have a picture with the frog chair. Not bad I guess as the three of us (Me, Andrea and the frog chair) are all smiles at this picture ... hahaha

Mommy and Me... Snack Time

"Mommy, it's snack time!" that what my little girl told me while I was busy in my laptop. She then said "I have to get the food". She then set up the table with two chairs with plates and a drink.

When everything was set up, she then said "It's ready Mommy. It's snack time" Who am I to resist that? So here we are....
