If I am ever given a chance to visit Canada, I will bring my family to Alberta. I have read so many fascinating things about this province and I am sure my family will enjoy a week or two stay there. Or if our budget and schedule permits, why not make it a month-long vacation? As early as now, I have been reading about Calgary Rentals and I have listed down some of my choices already! Talk about being excited. Hahaha!

Who would not be excited? I just read that Calgary is a popular destination for winter sports. It makes me daydream of skiing in the famous Canada Olympic Park and watch the kids play hockey in their Olympic Oval. We could also go Downtown to eat, immerse ourselves in culture, and even shop! The Heritage Park Historical Village is a must-see so my family can learn about pre-1914 Alberta. I am sure we will be fascinated with the historic vehicles like the steam train, paddle-wheel boat and electric streetcar and the various replica building.

If we will push through with this, I will contact my Filipino friends who live in Canada. Who know, we might have time to hook up for some coffee or dinner.

A Great Vacation

Last weekend, my wife had a great weekend visiting our son and his lovely wife in Staten Island. We also absolutely loved that we got a chance to see our little grandson after not seeing him for quite some time. Our son showed us a really great time. He brought us to the Staten Island ferry and guided us to Manhattan for a chance to finally see the big city. It was really an unforgettable vacation this time around! We got a chance to see Central Park, Times Square, Wall Street and a lot of other iconic places. We've never seen anything as visually impressive as New York, and we are glad we got to go this time around.

Back at my son's house, we all played board games, played with our grandson and caught up with my boy and his lovely wife. Recently my wife and I decided and took a trip to Maui in the Hawaiian Island Chain. Before we choose this destination we did a lot of planning for our trip online via our satellite internet service Kentucky. We had a bunch of options and we wanted to narrow down our options and choices as quickly as possible so it helped having a speedy hughes internet connection.

We were a little hesitant at first after we did our research at booking our trip online so we visited a local travel agency just to see how much if any price difference existed. The travel agents we went to were dull and boring and most had no clue about where we were going or what we wanted to do which was frustrating. This made the online system seem like the best option because we could read other peoples reviews of hotels and restaurants.

After much deliberation we choose to book this trip through an online service and it was great. Our tickets for our flights were perfect, the hotel was just as described and we had no issues to speak of. I know sometimes it can be a little scary to do things online but trust me it's worth it. Next time you're thinking about taking a summer vacation do yourself a favor and be sure and do it online. It's easier faster and just plain fun.

Will It Be Branson, Missouri?

There are affordable Branson vacations. I hope that someday I can avail them. I always wanted to explore Branson Missouri as I have heard so many good things about the place. I actually have seen some pictures of my friend who just visited Branson for their summer family getaway. The pictures are all beautiful and it makes me want to visit the place more.

Since we just had our family vacation, it is impossible for me to visit Branson this year. I hope that next year we can spend our summer vacation there. I know that fun and festivities in Branson is all year round so visiting the place at any time is not a problem.

Shopping Day

We were out shopping today. Oh, I love summer fashion as most clothes are in vibrant colors. Since we will be away for a vacation at the end of the month, we bought a couple of new outfit for Andrea. We also bought some shoes.

I usually don't shop for myself at the store anymore since I usually just shop online. Today, I needed to buy myself some swimsuit cover-ups since we plan on going to the beach. I now find it hard to shop for some sexy outfits since I gained weight. Whenever I found a sexy outfit that I wish I can wear, I keep on reminding myself that it is time to get rid of belly fat. I surely would love to wear something sexy in the beach but I no longer have the sexy body and flat abs to show off. Anyway, my excess weight doesn't affect my excitement to go to the beach and enjoy it with my family.

We had a very busy shopping day today. Thanks Mom for bringing us out shopping.

Planned Summer Trip

This summer we planned to visit my sister-in-law who lives in St. Petersburgh, Florida. I haven't been to Florida so this will be very interesting for me. This will also be Andrea's longest trip by car, I hope she won't be really fussy while on the road.

Dave and I were discussing about checking Disney vacations since we will be in Florida anyway. It will be perfect to visit Orlando theme parks because I am sure that Andrea will have a blast!

I really couldn't wait to have a first road trip to Florida. I am sure that Terri (my sister-in-law) will be so excited about our plans.

North Carolina Vacation

I have never been to North Carolina and I want to go for a vacation there. Perhaps this year we can have a local vacation since our plan for a Philippine trip will be in the next two years. I told my husband that I wanted to explore different states so North Carolina is a good destination since it is not very far from where we are.

I am checking out Outer Banks vacation rentals. I think that if we will be frugal on our spending habits, we can save enough money to spend for a North Carolina vacation. I hope that we can go for a vacation this year.

Now, time to tighten the belt that way we can have a family vacation!

Staying in the 14th floor of Holiday Inn, I was able to capture the view from atop! Mobile is beautiful. From atop the hotel, you can see the downtown Mobile and the Mobile Bay!
