Easter Picnic 2010

Last Sunday, we attended the Easter Picnic. It was an informal picnic for friends and families. It was a day of fun, games, and a lot of Filipino foods. The picnic was held in our local park which is like a mile from where we live.

The kids had a blast being outside and being able to play in the park. They enjoyed the egg coloring and egg hunting. The adults had their share of fun too. They played ball and danced. The food was endless and everybody enjoyed the picnic.

I also enjoyed the picnic with the company of filipino friends and with the company of our beloved cameras. Everybody has to stop and pose for pictures. Even if you are in a middle of a conversation when its picture time, conversations are to be set aside lol. That's what filipinos are known for... "picture...picture".

Easter Bunny Came!

Easter bunny came to leave gifts for my little girl!

Andrea woke up at around 3am Easter Sunday. All of a sudden she run straight to the table where the Easter baskets were waiting for her. She stood close by the baskets pointing at them and call me. I told her it was hers and they are from the Easter bunny. She had the grin of her face that was so precious. She hurriedly check them one buy one.

She was so delighted to see the Dora DVD which we have to watch while playing with her other toys in the basket. She enjoyed the maze and she didn't get very excited with the candies which I was so thankful because I don't want her to eat them that early. She spread all she got in the carpet. When I wanted to pick the apples and put it up she said no... all the things in the basket must stay in the floor with her while she is playing...

Dave was at work when Andrea woke up to see the Easter baskets... too bad he was not there to see Andrea's reaction. When Dave got off work Andrea was still awake and he was able to share with us Easter bunny tradition.

We had to force Andrea to get back to sleep as it was wayyyy early and we had planned an Easter picnic.

It was a great to see Andrea's reaction. This was the first time that she got excited with something like this. Here's a collage of photos that I took early Easter morning!
