Summer Outfits

Summer... a hot summer indeed! Our temperature is almost in the 100's everyday. It is so hot that I really hate going out. We do go out to let Andrea play outside mostly around 7pm onwards. Thankfully, during this time it is still not dark so she still can play. Temperature around this time is still in the high 70s so it is still hot. We expected a really hot summer this year as last year was just normal.

Anyway, now that it is summer, I bought some summer outfits and clothes for Andrea that she can wear comfortably. I also saw many people wearing hip hop clothing as part of their summer outfits. As for myself, I am just content wearing short shorts and my spaghetti tank tops. All I can say is, thanks to the airconditioner, life is bearable during summer!

Designer Suits

I love looking at men who wears a suit. For me, wearing suit makes somebody look very dignified. During formal gatherings were men are required to wear tuxedos, I always feel like we are in another world. Of course, I am exaggerating but formal gatherings make me think of acting with finesse and do things with grace and elegance.

Hubby does not wear a lot of suits because his work doesn't require him to wear that kind of outfit. His usual working clothes is just a khaki and a dress shirt. Sometimes, when we attend Filipino parties I encouraged him to wear a suit. Most girls in the party are dressed well so I don't want my hubby to be under dressed when attending our gatherings.

I am actually planning to shop for men's suits, neckties and dress pants to add to my hubby's closet. It is always good to have another extra pair just in case there will be important gatherings that need formal clothes. Well, knowing my spending habits, I have to look for a place where I can buy discount suits. I just couldn't afford to spend so much money on anything and besides, why will I need to buy expensive stuffs when I can buy it for a discounted price? I am just being practical. If, I can buy a good quality suit for a discounted price the better! I can use the extra money for other things.

Layering Clothes

Since the holidays, it has been cold here. The temperature and the wind makes you hate to go out and do something outside the house. But with proper clothing, anybody can still enjoy outdoor activities despite the cold weather.

Layering clothes can serve two purposes, which are keeping warm or looking good. A short, tight tank with a flannel shirt over the top doesn’t fall into the layering for fashion category; it’s a method of layering for warmth. I admit, I become good at layering clothes especially when it comes to Andrea. I always make sure that she is warm when we go out during this cold winter days.

The best types of clothing to use for layering are scarves, vests, leggings, sweaters, unbuttoned blouses, short dresses, short tops and long tops. A tank top, flimsy dress, open sweater and matching leggings is a fundamental layered look. Go out with style during this winter days. We still can be fashionable even if it is cold.
