I always thought that growing plants need soil. I am wrong! I just recently learned about hydroponics. Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. There are 6 basic types of hydroponic systems; Wick, Water Culture, Ebb and Flow, Drip, N.F.T. (Nutrient Film Technique) and Aeroponic. There are hundreds of variations of these systems but all in all they all the method is based on the 6 basic types.

Hydroponics can be a wonderful hobby. If you want to engage in this kind of hobby, you need to check out Art of Hydro, they are your one stop shop for all your hydroponic system needs. They also have knowledgeable hydro specialists that can help you achieve a stress free hydroponics hobby.
