Switching to E-Cig

My husband is a smoker.  Despite being one, he knows that I don't like the smell of smoke.  He is very considerate and he does his routine when it comes to smoking.  Smoking is not allowed inside our house nor inside our cars.  That being the rule, he never smoked inside our house and inside our cars.  He will just brave the cold weather or the rainy weather outside if he wants to smoke.  Every time he smokes, he uses his smoke shirt.  When he gets back inside, he has to wash up and uses the mouthwash.  There are times that he has to do it twice because I still can smell the smoke.

I discussed with my husband the possibility of switching to E-cig.  He is not familiar with e-cig but he has heard about it.  I have explained to him that E-cigs are battery operated nicotine inhalers.  It consists of a rechargeable lithium battery, a cartridge called cartomizer and a LED that lights up at the end when you puff it.  It simulates the burn of a tobacco cigarette.

Using e-cig has become popular and widely accepted socially.  In places where smoking is not allowed, you can use your e-cig because there is no law that prohibits an individual from doing so.

Financially speaking, Electronic cigarettes are a money saver.  An individual can spend more than $1,000 a year to feed a pack-a-day tobacco habit.  You will spend less if you use a e-cig.  Starter kits usually run between $30 and $100 while replacement cost will be about $600 a year (or less).  On top of that, discount coupons and promotional codes are available online if you want to buy e-cigarettes online.

When I emphasized to my husband that he can control the nicotine of an e-cig, he was convinced that it is time to switch.  For those who don't know, I will tell you this: E-cig can contain as much or as less nicotine than a regular cigarette.  The amount of nicotine will depend on the liquid-nicotine cartridge that you install.  You can even buy a cartridge that contains no nicotine.

If you are like my husband who is convinced to switch, you can do more research about this topic at 21stCenturysmoke.com
