Comfort Food

It has been raining the whole day. The weather is cool and the rain makes it cooler. With this kind of weather, chili will be a great food to eat. I actually debated on making chili or making black bean soup.

Since I already thawed some ground beef, I decided to make chili. Cooking chili takes time. The longer you simmer it, the more tasty it will become. For my chili I used the following:

2 lbs ground beef
1 can of light red kidney beans
1 can diced tomatoes
2 pcs onion
chili mix

Brown the beef. Drain the fats and run through hot water. Add all other ingredients and simmer for at least 2 hours.

Serve with saltine crackers and cheese!

This is really good during cool days... You might try this one of these days....

Wow I would love to do this food since we have a lot of beff in the fried which need to use hehe...and also this is good recipe since malamig na dito..
