Nasty Weather

Today, the South experiences a nasty weather. Tornadoes ripped through four states in the South, leaving broken crosses in front of a flattened church, splintering houses and overturning vehicles as they killed 10 people, including two children.

When the weather is nasty, living in the South, you already know that Tornado is somewhere. When I was new here in Alabama, I know that there is a tornado near our area because of the siren. The siren is a warning that a tornado is seen or has touched down in your area. I was always reminded before as to what to do in case there is a tornado. The safest place in our place is our bathroom.

Anyway, there were so many people that were affected with the tornado today especially in Mississippi. More than 15 counties in Mississippi also had damage. The swath of debris forced rescuers to pick up some of the injured on all-terrain vehicles the west-central part of the state. Tornadoes were also reported in Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama, and the severe weather continued to track eastward. Thankfully we only got rain in our area. It has been raining since last night though. There are couple of thunders and lightning. I am just glad that Andrea is not scared of it.

Despite the nasty weather outside, we were still able to manage to go out today. We went to the store to buy something for our dinner.
