Do you know what is a spirometer? A spirometer is a device which is used to measure the flow of breath in and out of the lungs. It records the amount of air and the rate of air that is breathed in and out over a specified period of time. People who are receiving treatment for pulmonary conditions have interacted with this device at some point in their lives.

Spirometer is useful as a preliminary test of the health condition for patient's lung. There are different types of spirometer. Each type has its specific function.
