Cautery

I am not into medical field that is why the word cautery is something I am not familiar with. Through a little click of the mouse, I have learned that there are different types of cautery. Cauteries are used by physician in different surgical procedures. The right cautery is needed in every different procedure. I know it is too technical for somebody like me. I need more time to research and understand more about medical terms.
